This is a speaker upgrade kit designed to replace ScaleTrains’ popular HO scale 4 screw “universal” speaker module. It is a design used in many ScaleTrains models, but it is advised to check your models’ speaker style before purchasing this upgrade kit.

Driver is rated for 4 ohms, 2 watts. If using non-ESU decoders (SoundTraxx, TCS etc), the included 4 ohm resistor must be used to bring the impedance to 8 ohms.

Pre-soldered wire extends 100mm (4”) from the speaker module.
