The Aurora Miniatures SD60F is a fantastic model, but due to the speakers used, the sound quality is sub-optimal. The Motown Models SD60F speaker upgrade kit greatly enhances the sound quality and turns a 9/10 model into a 10/10. With a large driver design, this kit both improves the volume output along with the fidelity, for more bass and richer mid-tones. The installation is very straight forward, with a 3D printed enclosure that ensures a perfect fit every time. The video below shows the step-by-step process of shell removal, stock speaker removal, Motown Model speaker installation and re-assembly. Driver is rated for 4 ohms, 2 watts. Note that this speaker does not interfere with any inner workings of the model.
